There are certain steps you’re going to need to take if you want your skin to look clear and healthy. Although it may seem like a process, it’s well worth it when you’re no longer suffering from acne.
Use a Natural Cleanser
Start the process of becoming acne-free by washing your face with a cleanser consisting of natural, gentle ingredients.
There are some organic cleansers on the market that contain only natural ingredients. You could buy one of those cleansers or make your own at home using a combination of olive oil, honey, and water.
Before applying anything to your face to get rid of your acne, it’s important to wash the face with the cleanser to strip the skin of that buildup of dirt and oil.
Tone Your Face
Once you’ve carefully washed your face with a gentle cleanser, allow the skin to dry and then use a toner directly on the skin. Instead of using toners that contain unnatural ingredients, stick with a simple solution. Apple cider vinegar works wonders as a toner.
It helps to shrink the pores, tighten the skin, and remove some of the dead skin.

Use a Spot Treatment

You can add a dab of honey to the zits on your face. Honey has anti-inflammatory properties that are known to fight off that bacteria while reducing the appearance of those blemishes.
Apply the honey before going to sleep at night and you should see a significant improvement in the morning. Make sure you’re using raw, organic honey and not the processed stuff before applying anything to your face.
Aside from honey, tea tree oil is a great product to use when you’re trying to fight acne. Apply a drop of tea tree oil to each blemish and allow it to soak deep into the skin to combat that bacteria.

Apply a Weekly Mask
Don’t forget to use a mask on your skin at least once a week. There are lots of healthy homemade masks you can make, including the traditional oatmeal mask.
If you’d like to make the oatmeal mask, you’ll need to combine one cup of plain oatmeal with a teaspoon of honey, teaspoon of lemon juice, and a teaspoon of apple cider vinegar. Mix these ingredients to form a thick paste that you’re going to need to apply directly to your face.
Before applying the homemade mask to your face, make sure you wash the skin with your cleanser. You can use your hands to put the oatmeal mask on your face, but some people prefer using a clean makeup brush to avoid getting that sticky oatmeal mask all over their hands.
Once you have the mask on your face, leave it on for at least 30 minutes before rinsing it off with warm water.
Applying a mask to the face isn’t something you must do all the time, but it does help to wear a mask at least once a week.
The mask helps to remove dead skin cells, lighten dark marks left behind from blemishes, reduce inflammation, and ultimately improve the condition of the skin.
